Biosignetics Corporation had released second generation of its noise removal algorithms.

Unlike digital filters, noise removal algorithms allows to differentiate stationary noise and transient sounds and then to eliminate stationary components. This technique is very useful when is applied to the practical heart sound recordings using current recording electronic stethoscopes (such as Meditron, Welch-allyn, Cardionics, Littmann 4000 and
others).
